Pilot
Impact Mill consists of the following
main parts. viz; an auto feed mechanism, a
grinding chamber, a set of hammers, a whizzer
classifier, a cyclone with a blower and a set of
cotton balloons. Raw material is fed by an auto
feed mechanism to a grinding chamber lined by
specially treated steel liners. There is a set
of precisely balanced fast rotating swing
hammers which accelerates the material on the
liner. By the impact the material is broken into
fine particles. From the grinding chamber the
ground material is fed automatically to a
whizzer classifier where the material is separated
as fine and coarse. The fine material is sucked
by a cyclone system and is delivered for
bagging. The coarse material returns to the
grinding chamber for further grinding. The
cyclone system avoids any pollution. The beaters
are reversible and can be easily replaced if
need be. The use of whizzer classifier
eliminates the use of screens and hence their replacements.
Particle size is determined by the setting of
whizzer classifier. Impact Pulveriser model no
IP-12 and IP-15 do not have feed control device
and second stage group filter bags but only feed
hopper. |
